The Three B’s

- The chorus performs the sublime J.S Bach motet Jesu, meine Freude;

- The rich mezzo of Christina Wilcox is featured in Brahm’s lush Alto Rhapsody, accompanied by PPM's men, as well as Beethoven’s concert aria, Ah, perfido;

- Finally, Beethoven’s Choral Fantasy brings the concert to a glorius finish with chorus, orchestra and the pianistic fireworks of our own virtuoso, Alan Geier.

- The Unicorn, the Gorgon, and the Manticore, a rarely performed and fanciful madrigal opera by Italian-American composer Giancarlo Menotti, in an imaginative staging by Occidental College Professor of Theatre Alan Freeman.
